The word "KARATIG" means "neighboring" (kalapit, katabi, kasama, karatig-bayan). Here in Bulacan, specifically in Malolos, this is also what we call the smaller jeepneys that haul passengers to and fro different areas in the city. Proudly Bulakenyo while also celebrating the spirit of collaboration with those from nearby communities, this name feels most apt for this group exhibition which showcased works made by artists who are also friends and collaborators of ISTORYA STUDIOS.
